Canelo opened himself up to the scrutiny when he said he wanted to be undisputed at 160 but proceeded to get “franchised” and also NOT go after the wbo strap, which is held by Andrade, among other things. I get it your a canelo fan, hell i am too but he isnt above being criticized for questionable moves. Honestly, i been saying guys need to stop chasing canelo and fight the guys closer too you. Would rather see charlo vs andrade than seeing them move up at this point. They both have unfinished biz at 160. Really hate guys ignoring other great opponents hoping to hit the canelo lottery. Despise!!

Whose fault was it that the fight never happened between Canelo and Andrade? Reynoso, Canelo's trainer, went on record saying they were planning in fighting for the WBO belt after Jacobs. So what happened?

If Plant was sure Benevidez had the professionalism to make weight and pee clean, the fight would have likely already happened. Who wants to be put in the position of your opponent didn't make weight and your choices are A. Go ahead with the fight giving your opponent a HUGE advantage when you did the work yourself to be on weight or B. Call off the fight, not get paid, you waisted prime career time and did the training camp work for nothing.

Benevidez is just too leaky of a vessel to gamble a life changing money fight vs Canelo.

Canelo has mentioned Benavidez. Problem is Canelo has also mentioned he wants to unify the division this year. Once he does unify, I see no reason why he would not fight Benavidez next year seeing as David should be a mandatory for the WBC.

I read very well you mentioned weight twice and if he can pee clean once.

My issue is with the pee line you could have just said coke.

Right and after the Fielding fight he was asked again and he said he would but as for Munguia that he was still a bit too green for him etc. He even said he would consider fighting Benavidez. Watch the video.
