Plant is trash. He just fought three bums in a row. His only good win was against Uzcategui. Uzcategui was sad about the loss of Plantīs daughter and basically let him win, he said in Spanish TV.The only round Uzcategui decided to attack, he almost KOed and battered Plantīs face. Uzcaīs face was clean.

If Plant was sure Benevidez had the professionalism to make weight and pee clean, the fight would have likely already happened. Who wants to be put in the position of your opponent didn't make weight and your choices are A. Go ahead with the fight giving your opponent a HUGE advantage when you did the work yourself to be on weight or B. Call off the fight, not get paid, you waisted prime career time and did the training camp work for nothing.

Benevidez is just too leaky of a vessel to gamble a life changing money fight vs Canelo.
