"One of the best female boxers in the world" doesn't have such a thing happen.
Loma has two losses: One to a washed journeyman, the other a green kid. Isn't he still a P4P something?

Not on any list I've seen he isn't.

She mentally moved on, she knew the deck was stacked. She's humble, like Ugas.

Taylor performed better in the second fight, I'm just saying, I saw no evidence that she was the better fighter against a significant underdog. And if you're not able to show that distance, how can you be P4P?

Perhaps if Shields did a Wilder and fought bums for the first half of her career to build up a knock out percentage she'd look better to a US audience. I hear Shelley and Haymon are available.
The problem is most women just can't fucking punch

BoxingScene has Loma at 9. P4P to me is garbage. BoxingScene has the worst. I always laugh when I see Josh Taylor there.

As I said, I prefer the term "best boxers" over P4P. In that sense I don't need to engage in some comparative fantasy ("if they were the same weight").

If Loma fought Taylor tomorrow, I have no doubt he'd beat his ass at 140, no doubt. Levels.

So ****** Diva wants to fight a 135 at 147 and then boost up to 165 - 170 on fight night ? Taylor never made 140, let alone 145...

And what happens to all the great plans when she can't even get through Dicaire on March 5th ?

Okay, so that list has him way down at the bottom. Granted.

However, many of you discredited Cliff Rold's Competition Index - which I've always praised for being the most accurate perception of quality of fighter based on who they beat.

After an awkward year that started strong and full of promise, the recovery of boxing in the second half of COVID-ravaged 2020 often showed boxing’s best face.

So, it sounds like people need to actually let go of their emotions a bit and actually look at what Cliff created, because it's REALLY difficult to objectively refute what he's got.

But notice, he has no females up there. So maybe you should inquire about a similar index on the female side.

Notice, I'm not suggesting combining them, because again, I would never say a female has an equal chance of beating a guy - no matter what Claressa Shields says - all other things equal.
