That's being smart. If you can find a way to be undefeated and can be recognize as TBE without getting hit then that's one of the skill that the greatest boxer should have.

If Canelo fought Floyd with the intelligence of today, he would probably just target the main arm Floyd would uses to for his shoulder roll till his arm was limp then just finish him off then later rounds.

But all in all Floyd was/is great and you can't take that away from him.

Manny could never beat Mayweather doesnt matter how many times you say it they fought and Manny lost he had his chance and failed.

Mannys other 6 losses would have been such easy work for Mayweather, he fought one of them and toyed with him, and all comom opponents say Floyd was the better fighter and best they fought thats a wall you can never climb over because they know better than anyone.
that 6 loses includes a green young pac WHO is fighting anyone available out there without hesistation to lose.. unlike floyd who always fight at advantage.. if he faced real threats early in his career he would never have that 0-L

The art of boxing is not to get hit and floyd has done it without getting hit by those excellent boxers.

Manny fought cans and was stopped by some lol, but he did have excuses for them just like he always had excuses when he lost, doesnt change the truth that Floyd would toy with every guy that beat Manny .

You don't need to face the great boxer in your era as long as you are in that same era and didn't loose it's a great achievement and beside boxing is not to get hit and floyd was too smart for them that's why none of those excellent boxers ever touch a glove in him.
