Either way, at that point in the fight, seems the outcome would have been the same if the punch missed. He was either likely getting knocked out or losing badly on points. If he was faking it or looking for a way out then what's any different about that than outright quitting? If it was "fixed" why would he willingly take such a battering and not stay down during one of the two previous knockdowns? Are they implying it was supposed to end at a certain time, maybe for a large Round 8 prop bet? Wouldn't someone notice that considering the moderate controversy surrounding this KO?
