I have to agree with JC on this one. I think Valdez has become too cerebral and tentative under Reynoso, perhaps also because of the horrific jaw injury. He takes time trying to pick the perfect moment to fire his super-loaded shots, without jabbing effectively, and in the meantime Berchelt is going to pepper him with shots. Plus Berchelt is bigger and naturally heavy handed.
the reynosos better prepare him for war cause that cabelo style ain't gonna work on someone like berchekt .
My heart says Valdez to where I convinced myself. Berchelt tip toed around Loma and what's his name. Valdez ended Quigg, even after getting out weighed and his face broke. It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.
Valdez, despite the size difference, would be the most notable opponent of Berchelt's career IMO. If he can somehow deal with Berchelt's firepower and get in some of his own shots, I believe he has a chance to pull off the upset.
