Former WBO featherweight champion Oscar Valdez (28-0, 22 KOs) is gaining motivation from the increased opinion that Miguel Berchelt will beat him on February 20, when they clash for the WBC super featherweight title at the MGM Grand's Conference Center in Las Vegas.

Valdez is tough and will make the fight competitive while it lasts, but eventually Berchelt will overwhelm him with his relentless pressure.

No disrespect to Valdez but getting knocked down by Lopez should tell everyone what they need to know how this fight ends with Berchelt

Who gives a damn what another character says. Prove it to yourself. Valdez is the underdog here, but he is a live underdog. Berchelt has been dropped and stopped before and Valdez can punch, so anything can happen here.

My heart says Valdez to where I convinced myself. Berchelt tip toed around Loma and what's his name. Valdez ended Quigg, even after getting out weighed and his face broke. It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.

I have to agree with JC on this one. I think Valdez has become too cerebral and tentative under Reynoso, perhaps also because of the horrific jaw injury. He takes time trying to pick the perfect moment to fire his super-loaded shots, without jabbing effectively, and in the meantime Berchelt is going to pepper him with shots. Plus Berchelt is bigger and naturally heavy handed.

If they were the same size then Valdez would out will Berchelt but that’s not the case here!

Big man with harder punches an skills , Berchelt by TKO 10

I've never believed valdez would lose going into a fight. It was fun chasing him around 3 states watching him fight from Vegas to Carson. Quigg proved how tough Valdez is! In Tucson that showed character. Servainia showed up to win that night. He walked into the ring among boos and left to a standing ovation. Now with his new team I might not be sold on them but I still wouldn't bet against Oscar Valdez! Keep giving more odds. I'll take em all day.

Valdez needs a real trainer. Reynoso camp dont care about anyone other than ryan and culero
