He went head to head with a ufc card and dazn made him sit in the locker room gloved up for an hour and a half to not have to fight at the same time as two ufc guys with a combined 25 losses.
So I think you’re mistaken in thinking that Ramirez vs Taylor won’t upset dazn and matchroom, especially if canelo and Saunders are set to make about 30 mil and if Ramirez vs Taylor happens to end up on regular ESPN the way loma vs Lopez did, that canelo revenue will definitely be impacted.
Look NO ONE wins if they go head to head. Some folks will choose to watch one fight & some the other fight. BOTH fights hurt themselves &/or lose money with that strategy. Bob ain't a fooking dummy. He knows Canelo is the biggest name in the game (or using your faulty logic is #2 & he ain't involved in a fight with the #1 guy on May 8) & he'll schedule his fight the day before, as is often the case these days to piggyback on this boxing holiday, or he'll do it early cuz sh^t he might even be able to make some small PPV money in the UK showing this fight early.
And IF they do go off at similar times you can bet 100% of your net worth the main events won't cross swords so to speak & all most people care about is the main event.Last edited by Eff Pandas; 02-03-2021, 04:41 PM.

Thats relevant in the draw conversation...but waaaaaaay off topic considering the Canelo/BJS vs Taylor/JCR issue we are talking about.
And DAZN got blasted for that decision by most as I recall it. Idk that many folks said it was a smart move thats for sure. Again no clue what thats got to do with a guy who's like a top 5 PPV buy guy of all time vs these two guys on the come up still.
I think you are mistaken if you think this will be an issue at all like I keep saying.
Look NO ONE wins if they go head to head.

To each his own.

Whatever doe. Fair play. Agree to disagree.
