Well having this sort of viewership doesn’t necessarily translate to good PPV buys.

I swear the Charlos had 2.4m viewership in one of their fights prior to their last PPV fight and that sold 100k, so until these numbers transfers to 400k PPV buys then he hasn’t really generated money for his backers.

And can anyone tell me what Katie Taylor's PPV numbers were for the persoon 2 fight? I can find any of Sky Sports other numbers but finding those numbers is like trying to get a government secret. The fight wsa watched mostly to see Plant expose himself, or as a curiosity, or to see him lose his 0. This is the problem with boxing, they don´t want boxers to lose their 0. Floyd Mayweather would have not been an icon if he had 2 or three losses ( which he should have had ) before the Canelo fight.

The folks calling it boring ARE NOT boxing fans at all. They are your typical casual that MUST SEE a KO in every fight or it was “garbage.” Casuals are ruining the sport. The fight was a display of beauty. One boxer who got hit a total of 47 times in a fight displays defensive eliteness. The haters of a pure boxer will always be around. I'm sure it didn't hurt, but I've been told that Fox isn't cable and this is why they always get better numbers thsan ESPN, Showtime etc.

Anyways, good for the sport. TV fights are the solution, but its been said for at least 20 years now.

Explain for me how ANYONE is ducking someone that pops on a piss test loses title. Then follows that up with not making weight and losing his title again. Name for me the promoter that would risk millions locking in a fight for someone that’s shown he isn’t acting as a professional champion is supposed to?
