The folks calling it boring ARE NOT boxing fans at all. They are your typical casual that MUST SEE a KO in every fight or it was “garbage.” Casuals are ruining the sport. The fight was a display of beauty. One boxer who got hit a total of 47 times in a fight displays defensive eliteness. The haters of a pure boxer will always be around. I believe so. His fight with Uzcategui surpassed a million views and this fight against Truax even more. Both Truax and Uzcategui are nobodies.

Canelo is a star, with Plant they crack the million buys.

I don't think Canelo's going to have massive outings against either Billy Joe or Plant. Outside of belts they just don't bring anything to the table as far as getting a mass audience to tune it much less pay for either of those fights. Don't be shocked if GGG gets the 3rd fight in September either if it means trying squeeze whatever's left of that fight. Plant may end up having to fight Benavidez anyway if that happens. I think the winner of Plant v Benavidez makes for a bigger fight for Canelo.
