    They said on commentary during his last boxing match that he had signed a contract with an MMA promotion and his next fight would be in MMA, but he would still try to box as well.

      He is boxing undefeated Maidel Sando on 2/20. For the non mma fan, the promotion Collard will be fighting mma is offering a 1 million dolllar grand prize to the winnern of the tournament so makes sense for him to try it.

        I was about to say I doubt we've seen the last of him boxing, but I guess thats a fact now if he's boxing this month.

        PFL is a solid non-1st tier MMA league. Some people prefer it to Bellator. So its a good opportunity for Clay. Don't think he'll win the $1M as there are a few better guys in that league including ex-Wheaties Box cover guy Anthony Pettis who's recently come there from the UFC, but who knows.
