This fight is a waste of time. Why are they having Ortiz fight Ramirez leftovers. We know Ortiz can crack but put him in with someone that can do the same to him since he does get hit quite a bit

This is the same scenario with Orozco who before Ortiz didn’t impress with previous opponent after moving up in weight shifted trainers and look where that got him. The only difference is height and reach advantage. That’s the only thing that’s intriguing. We will see how they look at the weigh ins to get a good gauge how this plays out. If Hooker looks solid at 147 and then I do believe he has a shot if he uses his reach advantage well it could give problems for Ortiz. Ortiz needs to learn to move his head and not get wreckless by swinging wild for the fences like he does on occasion eager to get a KO

Lipinets... None of the champs are going to want to fight these guys (Ortiz and Ennis), they will have to force mandatories.

Should draw some decent interest in the Area or at the very least depending on restrictions etc then I guess network views depending on how known or how much the casual to hardcore crowd decide to tune in..

He's fighting Sergey Lipinets. Going by the "eye test" there is no comparison, Boots far superior technician!

Because Ortiz just has 16 gights, dummy. Hooker is a good fighter with a great record who gave Ramirez problems. Ramirez is a champ, Ortiz is not. You want Ortiz to fight Canelo?? STFU

It will draw a lot of interest, casual. Both great fighters, from the same area. Ortiz has a huge following and is more exciting than your boring Brits.

Ortiz and Canelo are not even close in the same divisions so what does that have to do with anything? Have a seat. The adults are talking

Ortiz does not have a huge following. Who told you that lie? He even said himself nobody recognizes him when he goes to the gym. Now I don’t know if he was saying that just cause he was being modest or the majority there don’t watch boxing. IMO though he seems decent, he’s not marketable like Ryan Garcia who has this huge fan base and endorsements with Adidas and now Gatorade
