This fight should of been made a long time ago. Same thing for Ramirez-Taylor, Top Rank right now is terrible. Pretty much their going to start giving us decent fights in Fall 2021?

Smith-Beterbiev is not a mega fight that we must wait till summer for either. Arum right now is just not wanting to spend his $$$ and that to me is another reason I can’t wait till he leaves the sport.

He was on Steve Kim-Mario Lopez podcast stating that he wasn’t going to do cards until he got the vaccine. I don’t know understand how the other big wigs at Top Rank can’t organize to do live shows in Texas and Florida?? They need arum that bad?

I would love to see Joe Smith vs. Artur Beterbiev, if Smith succeeds in defeating Vlasov of course...

I know that most hardcore fans would prefer to see Beterbiev vs. Bivol but Beterbiev-Smith isn't a bad fight either. Plus the winner can still face Bivol and the fight would be that much bigger. Lastly, whoever is left standing among those three becomes a more attractive option if Canelo wants to test himself at 175.

It's going to happen "Now" because Smith will have the WBO. Also why it's going to happen in the summer. Smith is fighting Vlasov for the strap next weekend.

Canelo will never fight whoever becomes undisputed at 175

I think it depends on who it is. Let's say Joe Smith scores the upset over Beterbiev. I could see Canelo taking that fight but to each his own.

Bivol is head and shoulders above everyone at light heavy in terms of skills. He’s probably the most athletic too. Only reason Bivol vs Beterbiev would be interesting is because of Beterbiev’s overwhelming power.

                  Smith- big puncher
                  Beterbiev - Monster puncher.

                  Smith - +average Chin.
                  Beterbiev - Granite chin.

                  Smith- big guy.
                  Beterbiev - Huge Guy.

It’s a mismatch if you ask me.
Respect Mr. Arum trying do his thing and sell a fight. But come on now....

Beterbiev's skills are a lot better than he seems to get credit for on here.

Joe hasn't been knocked down in over ten years, and that includes having his jaw broken by Barrera and fighting until the final bell.
