And with all the conspiracy theories running rampant, I have my own as far as Plant-Canelo goes.
I don't think there is a hand injury.
I have Canelo as P4P No. 1 (hands down) but his team loves to fight guts coming off of extended lay-offs, short training camps, or previously injured.
I think Plant intentionally went 12 with Truax to get some much needed rounds in & if Team Canelo thinks Plant has an injured hand, you can bet they will offer him big money on short notice. The basic take or leave it approach that has worked very well for Alvarez.
Smart tactic by team Plant if the injury is indeed a smokescreen

Plant goes 1 round 12 rounds it doesn't matter, he went 12 because he has no power and fights defensive, that's why, not because his hand, or because He's baiting Canelo. Canelo already offered him a fight twice, Canelo doesn't need a piss poor performance for him to realize he whips Plant everyday and twice on Sunday.

He had Truax head boxing like a low rider in a Dr Dre video SMH no Plant isnt known for his power. He has hand speed, footwork and boxing IQ. Not to mention enough pop to keep people at bay. Boxing isnt all about the knockout. The idea is to hit and not get and according to punch stats in Plant's fights he does just that landing 4 to 1 on his competitors. Get the *** outta here with the ******ity and learn what boxing is all about. This site should be for boxing fans and not nut huggers.

Canelo didn't give him enough time to get surgery and heal and reschedule the fight for September 2024
