For now I'll post a link to Oscar's statement.
Jermell's is on video and I'll have to look for the specific one. Others here have seen it, though, so maybe one of them will post it in the meantime.
De La Hoya: Charlo's Handlers Turned Down 'Very Lucrative Offer' For Canelo Fight
Oscar De La Hoya has revealed that his promotional company attempted to make a Canelo Alvarez-Jermall Charlo fight for last May 4. According to De La Hoya, Charlo’s handlers turned down “a very lucrative offer” to battle Alvarez in what would’ve been by far the biggest fight of the undefeated Charlo’s career. That offer was made when Charlo was the WBC’s interim middleweight champion and due a shot at Alvarez’s WBC world 160-pound championship.Comment

Charlos area all talk and no bark. They showed us who they really time and time again, its time we believe it.
They just want the image of being tough guys and rowdy and all this but they wont ever walk that talk. Charlo been saying he wants benavidez for like a year and Benavidez been said they can make it happen but than charlo goes quiet and till the next time somone puts a battery in his back. RINSE REPEAT.Comment
