That will happen immediately after Canelo-BJS.

The belt will be vacated and we will be no closer to crowning an undisputed champion at 168.

Sorry to be a buzzkill LOL.
    LOl

Whaaat is the deal with these threads. Canelo is like a 168 lb fighter now...maybe 175..

He'd murder Andrade to the body all night then chop him down. Andrade not even on the same level.

Not sure if it's a fair, competitive fight at this point

Andrade was scheduled to fight at 168 two months ago but the fight was cancelled.

Imagine living in a fantasy world where you believe this bs. Canelo has faced 6 champs in a row in 3 weightclasses, yet you Andrade die hards still run with this bs about him ducking paper champ mws who were gifted vacant titles. Mws who are older than Canelo but whoms resumes pale in comparison.:

I didnt realize this was an exclusive message board lmao

But yea. And maybe had he gotten some better fights at a younger age he would be even better than what he potentially is right now. Steel sharpens steel, not to mention more money from better fights can lead to paying for better sparring, training, medical attention, supplementation, diets ect.

People say what they want about nelo but he seems like a gym rat and his team seems like they live and breathe boxing.. you can be as talented as you want but if you dont work hard or have the right people around you it may not amount to ****

Why is Andrade the new apple of the Canelo haters eye?
Have they not seen him fight? He’s too basic to give Canelo any problems. Canelo would time him up early and cruise to an easy W. He would be on that bicycle like Lara avoiding a KO by the middle rounds.
At 160 or 168 he’s easy work for Canelo.

At some point actions speak louder than words. He beat Vanes what 8 years ago? That’s still his best win.

Andrade is a good fighter but his resume is trash.

And some people have poor management and aren't draws so people have no incentive to fight him. You don't actually disprove my argument in any way.

Where's the line to fight Andrade and where has there ever been one? Right now I don't see anyone other than Liam Williams wanting the fight.

Andrade backed out of a Jermell Charlo fight years back. He also backed out of a Matt Korobov fight in the past. He could’ve fought Liam Williams late last year but instead opted for Dusty Hernandez Harrison.

He’s only willing to take a risk for a big payday IMO. I can’t prove that but his whole career suggests that.

At some point you have to take ownership of your own career. He has been unfortunate in some respects like the BJS fight, the management issues, I’m not denying that. But if after 8 years Vanes is still your best win, you have to take some accountability for your own career or lack thereof.

So, I mean what was the original point here? Andrade hasn't taken risks, right? This is in regards to fighting Canelo who has fights lined up with two guys who have unremarkable resumes and has fought many guys with unremarkable resumes. Andrade really doesn't stand out like a sore thumb compared to
                    Smith, Saunders or Plant.

All of AlvaRoid's big fights have asterisk on them. He lost to Lara by the eye test & according to the punch stats round by round, yet he somehow was granted the victory. He lost to GGG the 1st fight 100% & was granted a victory in the 2nd fight, in a match which at best case scenario for him was a draw. He then beats up Rocky Feilding who isn't championship level, I'll give him credit for Jacobs even though i feel he's overrated. He moves up to 175 and beat up Sergiy "washed up" Kovalev & then beat Callum Smith, who clearly fought for a check. I can't really respect the resume until he fight someone dangerous.
