So what? What is wrong with doing that to help promote the fight? It is not something new or different. It is done all the time and it's not against the law. This just one of the 10 threads you start about Canelo every day for no good reason.

Gotta do something to sell a ****ty mismatch.... It’s always sad and amusing to see how promoters approach it (human interest stories, fake “grudge matches” like Jacobs-Rosado, playing up a guys nickname like MEAN MACHINE, etc.), especially when it’s a bland, cautious fighter like Plant.

Nobody clout chases like the PBC clout chase. I've never known anybody to piggy back off superstars names like these guys.
