How can a fighter build their resume when the people that matter don't fight him? It's such a weak excuse and fans of the sport should stop using it.

Easily better than anyone Andrade has faced.

Not even close to be honest and I’m no bjs fan.
That is not easily better. Can't believe you're throwing a washed Murray in there. Lee is a good win. Vanes is a good win. The way people are hyping Liam Williams with his win over Fox then Fox is a good win too.

Point being neither one of these guys have separated themselves from the other. Only difference is Andrade didnt fail a drug test and get their fight canceled

Trust me he has a much better resume.

Lemieux alone craps on any of Andrades opponents.

You just don’t want to see it that’s fine but the matter of the fact is Bjs has a better resume and that’s not saying he he’s faced a murderers row it’s just shows how crappy Andrades is.

I understand the BJS fight is for a belt but he's boring too and the Andrade fight would've been undisputed.
This is very easy to answer. You know the chronological perspective from Canelo’s team.

1.) The DAZN/Hearn roadblock for Andrade unification. After Canelo beat Jacobs, and even before, industry kept on writing about a potential GGG Trilogy. It was what DAZN signed up for. You would agree. To put it in clear perspective, nobody really pushes for the Trilogy anymore. So GBP or Hearn were forced with obstacles in context of the whole GGG mess. If Canelo were to have lost to Andrade, the GGg Trilogy could’ve been in jeopardy. Sales are based on how you can also market the circumstances.

Now, with all that being said, it doesn’t mean Canelo or his team specifically were the ones to green light anything for an Andrade fight.

So, when DAZN weren’t getting what they wanted, both GBP and Hearn colluded to not make the Andrade fight because Canelo wasn’t making any headway to acknowledge GGG. At best Canelo wanted a bonus, and DAZN didn’t understand that, and that’s where the distrust towards Oscar came from, from the execs at DAZN..

So what ends up happening? Canelo is advised that the road to undisputed after Jacobs gets complicated. Canelo has to hear about GGG nonstop and Haymon/Dibella are pushing for a purse bid. Then GBP is unable to secure the Devry fight for an IBF defense and Canelo loses the strap. This is when industry starts to instigate the behind the scenes at GBP and the turmoil ensuing.

Keep in mind two months earlier the world is trying to figure out the nature of “Franchise Champion,” which some speculated it was like the Super WBA version or some sort...

Fans need to realize that many boxers don’t have control of these things and the promoters and orgs collude to do things as work arounds with the boxer and team not knowing what the hell is going on and just playing along. If you’re a cash cow, you assume you’re being taken care of. Boxers also know the politics and games between promoters.

So if Canelo sees the domino effect of all these situations crashing while having to justify his choices or his situation with Oscar (before the Athletic disclosed drama) don’t you think he’s going to be blunt that Kovalev is the more ideal fight than fighting Andrade? All while Andrade has been insulting Canelo for years. If Canelo sees and hears Andrade talking smack, why would he do the favor to be nice about Andrade during interviews? What’s so wrong if he himself gets to retaliate and say he’s boring? Isn’t this basic common sense? If you talk smack about me for a hot minute then you think I could too talk about the other in SOME WAY? Common sense.

            But you know all this.

So to answer your main questions, which I strategically just gave the cliff notes to everyone, BJS is at 168 NOW. The context from your question was 160. Again, common sense? Why would Canelo fight Andrade now? You’re asking a question regarding couple years ago.

Instead, why don’t you instigate the matchmaking within Matchroom? Like BJS vs Andrade. I’m sure there’s some fun theory there considered BJs vs Andrade once happened. Now Canelo stealing one who was lucky enough to be at 168...lol

It’s also funny that Andrade vs Charlo nor the LDBC acknowledged the genuine beef. Lol

He didn’t say that. Read my latest post above. He said the fans would’ve preferred a Kovalev fight, not Andrade’s style. He was justifying Kovalev as the better fight. Fans interpreted that as “boring.” Which I have no problem with. Fighting Kovalev was ballsy and marketable. Fans assume Canelo was going to talk nice about Andrade when Boo Boo had been insulting Canelo

Andrade is too boring, no resume, no fanbase.

Saunders has a fanbase, a resume, although limited, still better than Andrade’s.

It’s just a common sense situation.

Andrade was too selfish for his own good, pulled out of the Charlo fight in 2014 last minute because he was promised more money by a different “possible” promotional company (Roc Nation).

I don’t believe in karma, but you can say in his case, karma is a b.tch. Charlo, the guy he left hanging out to dry for a signed fight, went on to have a decent career. Meanwhile, Andrade’s greedy ass has been suffering to secure another big fight.

Andrade should be a case study to future fighters. Know what the f.ck you’re doing before you do it. And know the consequences for all of your ill-advised “business” moves. Andrade’s career has been a failure and it really all started with that one point where he pulled out of fighting Charlo once the fight was done. You just don’t do sh.t like that as a young up and coming fighter with zero fanbase. You do sh.t like that when your name is Ali, Tyson, DLH, Leonard, Mayweather, Pacquiao, or Canelo and you are absolutely established as a big name. And let’s face it, no big name fighter did that as an unknown fighter.

You take the damn opportunity when it arises. It’s the same thing in the real world. You don’t play around with your opportunity to make money and climb up when it is there. Not saying you have to go out of your way, but when the opportunity is offered, you don’t mess with it and take for granted. Andrade, for whatever reason, maybe someone whispering the wrong advice in his ear, took his opportunity as a joke. Just squandered his career right there.

I liked the guy like 7 years ago, I was all for him going up in the boxing world. But as the main financial supporters of these guys, the fans and media, we have to call a spade a spade and we have to call it when a boxer, even if we liked them, f.cked up big. Andrade f.cked up big and he has not been able to recover from withdrawing from that career changing opportunity.
