It is always a bad thing when a fight is agreed to and essentially scheduled before a guy actually wins the next fight he has.

I get that Yildirim has little chance but Signing to fight Saunders eliminates the need to even watch canelo/yildirim because now it looks like no matter what canelo will get a win.

Well that is just a lovely tale but it didn't seem to relate to my point. The 2 fighters you want Canelo to fight are operating in a different weight class to Canelo and Canelo is looking to win belts and unify at 168 so what would be the point of facing 2 guys that don't hold belts, or even fight, at 168?

Dont get me wrong I'm far from a Canelo fan myself but the above is where we are at right now.

Like it or not, Canelo is the cash cow, that's what talks, and he's stated he's now at 168 to unify.

So if Charlo wants that fight he needs to get Haymon to match him with Plant ASAP.

Even though Canelos next two fight are with dazn, the path to Canelo for Golovkin and Andrade might be trickier with no title at 168 between them.
