She is, but for whatever reason (likely overconfidence) she declined rapidly as she got older.

I just saw a fight from early 2020 where it was like watching Tim Bradley against Pacquiao...just clumsy, off balance, over throwing, etc. Here's that:



Wasn't the opponent's height, she's knocked out taller fighters when she was much younger.

I think she'll be alright if she gets an actual boxing trainer that can calm her down in the ring. Seems like she gets too excited and loses focus. She has good hand/eye and great balance plus a very strong core.

Regarding the little girl. I don't find her impressive in the slightest and don't take this as a knock against women or children. They're presenting her as a speciman, she's not. They're just exploiting gender and youth. I don't subscribe to those parameters.

Having your hands down is an advanced styling. You have to have speed and power to make the other side pay and when they pay, they become apprehensive (gun shy).

Look at how people play in cash no limit games against Doyle Brunson Sr, they're so gunshy he can get you with a 10-2 at any time of the day. There used to be a show, forget the name, but it was cash games with all the big stars, Doyle still whipped them up. Not so much in tournaments, but who cares, cash games is where the real skill lives on.

Anyway, she's too small, too slow, and too inexperienced for that style. The height of the other side and confidence will reduce that style to salt 10/10.

You got to learn and master the basics before fighting like that.

That fight above, little kid lost imo.

On the other hand, Davis is phenomenal. He can do it all, very amazing and multifaceted.

That girl was all right but she looked like a European fighter . she kinda lacked in the Mexican style as you'd say . like brawling tactics Tyson , Chavez , Frazier etc . throwing strong short hooks to the head and body .

Just to be fair: Kira isn't really a boxer. She's an athlete. Soccer skills, fast (she IS fast) hands and feet, balance, core...the only reason she's doing boxing is because she can use her athleticism to look better than other kids right now.

She's the only person I've ever seen be able to work mitts, blindfolded, while on a moving treadmill. So we know she's athletic as hell.

But right now it's her dad training her, and that will slow her development style-wise. She really does need a real boxing trainer who can teach her to use her natural gift, which is balance. She throws it out the window when she starts getting fired up.

If Uncle Roger were still with us I'd be excited to see what he could with her.

People crapping on the little girl. She's a gem. How many little girls like that do you really know or see? Next to none. Her defense, footwork, and head movement in that clip are amazing. Her form is superb for a tiny girl.

Not comparing her to Davis.
