The public has just been buying into all the excuses ESPN makes for Loma. Teo is a complete fighter, still a little green, but he proved he's better than Loma. Teo will get win by TKO in a rematch.Comment

It's more about what Loma couldn't do because he didn't with Teo's spead, or his range, or his timing, or his counters. Teo took away Loma's game plans. Give the young kid propsComment

The oddsmakers are professionals who handicap fights for a living. they are not always right but the usually are. They don't go by hype. They go by what they see of the fighters in the fight. A Loma win should not be unusual or a big surprise. He fought a ****** fight and can do much better and very possibly win in a rematch.Comment

How do you know if he fought round 1-7 like he did 8-12 that he even makes the whole fight? Did you not see what happened in the 12th? He actually had to headbutt Teo to keep him off of him.
Come on dude. Give Teo credit for forcing Loma to fight like that, same as you would give Loma if he forced a guy to run for 7 rounds.Comment

He won the fight but I was bored to death. So I ain’t giving him ****. And I’m a fan of Teo and picked him to win the fight. I just wasn’t impressed.Comment

If Loma can get those two chickens to fight this year. He’ll whip them both easy do too EXPERIENCE.Tank has short arms so I agree. But Ryan and Haney are bigger, faster and more athletic. They may not be better than Loma but they can box and move and fight from a distance that would make it difficult for Loma to get close enough to really land effectively.
They are bad matchups for Loma IMO.
Neither want to fight him and u know why. They will wait till he looses a couple more times before their balls drop, then they will challenge himComment

i agree with this.....even as much as i was pulling for teo
i really though that the 12th round would decide it..and the way the fight looked like it was going i thought loma easy....and i think loma had to know he needed that round which is why i was shocked as hell that teo won that round so easily and clearly
as much as loma came on and was taking the 2nd half of the fight....it showed me that if loma had come forward for 12 he might have ended up on his arseComment

I think Loma got Lopez into the later rounds ok (I wouldn't have started as slow as he did, but ...). The fight (in my eyes) was won in the 12th round. Loma had Lopez dazed, hurt, and in trouble for moments during rounds 8 - 11. But Teofimo kept rising to the occasion, managing to land shots to slow Loma's roll.
It added up to an even fight heading into the 12th (my opinion). Lopez met the challenge and outgunned and outlasted Loma in the 12th. Ballgame!
A rematch could definitely go either way, but much respect to Teofimo ... as the young challenger, he kept his composure in tough moments, stayed creative and focused on fighting his fight, and overall met every challenge that tough, crafty, and dangerous Loma threw at him, rounds 7 - 12. If Lopez had faltered or got gun-shy, Loma would have won the fight .... even with a very slow start in the early rounds.
Just a word on that. When Loma did decide to step forward to Teo's power shots (that were controlling the fight) he showed how impressive a boxer and fighter he is. Loma did some amazing things getting his attack untracked. Lopez never really slacked up to give Loma room ... Loma just crafted a way to suddenly start being very effective and dangerous. Fantastic fight!Comment
