""He is very clever in terms of the jab. He walks you down. With anybody else, you would jab. But he wants you to jab because he's a counter-puncher. So you don't throw as many jabs and while you are waiting, he closes the space down without throwing anything. Then he jabs and hits you. You think: 'How did that land?' He keeps you guessing all the time. You are hesitant." - Callum Smith.

This pretty muchs sums it up, this is what elite fighters do, they take away your best assets and make you pay for them. There is no such thing as "This Callum Smith didn't come here to win the fight", it's all about what the other guy imposes on you.

Mayweather, Ward, Crawford, Canelo are these kind of guys who take away what you do best and make you pay for little mistakes you wouldn't have to worry agaisnt lower opp.

EDIT: Very interesting to hear that Smith rates Groves as a heavier puncher than Alvarez.

I'd like to hear who are those "plenty of fighter" who you are certain will beat Canelo, just make it with smart reasoning and arguments so we can have a nice debate in here.

Yeah, it really is impressive his ability to not just take it away but exploit it. Like how he made GGG irrelevant as a body puncher.

I’m included to believe Callum on the Groves thing. Canelo will punch hard in any division because he just has beautiful mechanics and is reallly really sharp and accurate. I don’t see him as this super unusual concussive puncher though. Groves put down Froch and had him all but finished and Froch had a legitimate nuclear bunker of a chin.

I don't want to hear s*** from Callum "Quitter" Smith. AlvaRoid lost to Floyd, GGG & Lara clear as day & because he loses to him, no one can beat him? Man STFU! Bivol, Benavidez, Plant & (maybe) GGG beats AlvaRoid today.

GGG literally landed his jab on Canelo all day in both fights lol. I didn't see him taking away that weapon at all. Canelo is a great fighter but man some of y'all are sucking hard on the guy right now.

So since Canelo is playing the cherrypicken fields, there will be a few weight classes I'm indicating.

For sure Canelo is losing to Andrade, Saunders, Beterbiev, and probably Jermall Charlo.

If Canelo can move up to fight a broken ti pieces Kovalev, can do for Beterbiev. He won't because Beterbiev will stop him dirty.

Benavidez, Hurd at 160, Spence at 160, and Bivol all have great chances to beat Canelo too.

Spence isn't exactly a native welter, he's very big for the weight and fought at higher weights in the amateurs and pro ranks. Honestly, making 160 will be easy for him. Hurd is a megladon at his weight, 160 is literally zero problem. Hurd isn't like super awesome, but he's big and comes to fight. He'll give Canelo big problems.

He's not going to fight a real threat, that's just the facts.

Instead of fighting a real threat and make a great fight for the fans, he's fighting Yildirim. A guy who lost his last fight to the bad Dirrell and got stopped by Eubank. I mean, come on guys. This is insane to support something like this.
