They seem to be making Joe jump thrpugh hoops to get a big fight. Win this and put him in with Beterbiev this summer. Fireworks galore. !!!!!! He may not win it, but you will always get his best shot.

Joe is a true contender in the old skool sense. I want to see the man win a title badly. He has concussive power in the right hand and I really would love to see him use it to win a world title finally

I’m telling right now, if Joe wins nobody should be counting him out against beterbiev

Joe Smith is a tough as nails fighter, and he has had title opportunities. His upcoming fight with Maxim Vlasov is a fight for the vacant WBO World Light Heavyweight title. This isn't going to be an easy fight for Joe. Maxim has the height, and reach advantages, he's also never been stopped. We'll see how much of a throw back he really is in this fight. If he's able to beat Maxim, he might be able to retain the title a few times.

Smith Jr. is a easy fighter to want to do well. The way he carries himself in between fights and takes the fight game serously. I have seen enough of his fights to know he will not show up overweight, or give a less then honest effort and he has the power to make things change fast in the ring. Should be a good one. Undercard ? not sure I will have to look it up. Been waiting on this one wasnt it cancelled once before. ? Anyhow.
