When you got a promising fighter in Ortiz and you want to keep him in your stable and don’t know who else to put him up against or anyone else willing to fight him, you will bend over backwards and pay a former world champion millions to accept a fight or risk losing Ortiz in your stable. After all, Ortiz signing an agreement with MTK didn’t happen for no reason.

I’m wondering if ****** Ortiz will learn anything from this fight or did they pay Hooker enough to be willing to take a loss? You can’t seriously believe that Hooker agreed to this fight for any other reason cause him beating Ortiz does nothing for his record and it wasn’t that long ago when he was a world champion before losing the belt to Ramirez. With that being said, I highly doubt Hooker wouldn’t mind being used as a stepping stone unless he’s getting paid a couple millions. It’s like they’re out of options for Ortiz in terms of opponents

You don´t know about boxing´s pospects. This would do sonders to Hooker´s record. Ortiz is one of the hottest prospects right now. If Hooker just fought foe a belt, he should win...hehehehe

This is like the perfect test for him right now. The fight with Ramirez was a war. Hooker still a solid athlete and boxer with an absolutely absurd reach. Far better than anything Ortiz has faced thus far.
