Don’t understand people who just randomly hate on the kid. A young KO machine brings attention to the sport. I hope guys like him and Ryan Garcia start wrecking everyone and bring more eyes to the sport.

who cares... that is just the amateurs

the only reason why that is even mentioned is because of the unwarranted hype surrounding Berlanga

back in the day, guys would correctly be saying... we need to wait until he steps up, so we can see if he is just another puncher... which are dime a dozen

at present, because of the hype... as soon as Berlanga goes 12, he is going to get roasted

reminds me of Wilder, both are big hype jobs, both been exposed at amateurs, you cant train that chin

Ams though – also everyone keeps saying about how Usyk beat Joyce in the ams. Well Shawn Porter beat Usyk in the ams, so maybe he should take a run at unifying cruiserweight.

Gotta learn to embed the videos.

Funny though. Watching that you'd figure it was Blue who would be getting dropped. Way too tight, hands down, and red seemed like he had a lot more experience.

Split decision too. Without that second knockdown red would have won.

I certainly don't consider him any sure thing to become a world champion. He has yet to fight any boxer in the boxrec top 100 so I am not overly excited about him yet. These days many good boxers are already world champions with as many pro fights as he has had. If he steps it up and starts beating guys in the top 20 of the world then maybe he is the next big thing but right now he is just a maybe, might be, could be fighter to me.

I don't hate him. I just don't think he has knocked out anybody worth a sh it yet. Garcia has fought vastly better competition and just KOed a top 7 or so best lightweight in the world. He has yet to beat a fighter in the top 100. Yes on guys rated number 200 or 300 on boxrec and not ranked by anyone else he is indeed a KO machine.
