Who said it’s a “great” fight? Industry and fans know the money invested for Canelo events are May and Sept if possible. He just fought end of year and has to do this mando.

Canelo is even exempt filler concepts... because he’s the HNIC!

Exactly right. This is a mandatory fight on a Feb date. At least there are more than one fights in the card.

If this was HBO WCB or Boxing after dark, they'd only show the Canelo fight and that's it.

People acting like the Plant fight is some extraordinary card and they're having to pay $100 to see this Canelo fight.

This card is trash. Let me guess another 10 minute parade for Canelo with two national anthems that’s another 5-7 minutes provided there are no technical issues that DAZN is known for. Arroyo would have been decent for an opponent but at 34 I’m not so sure. Martínez is going to get found out soon since he gets hit too much and makes his defense his offense. The undercard is predictable as can be. This is just a Canelo and Reynosos showcase. Yildirim is just there for a paycheck and has no interest in becoming world champion.

Now it’s going to be on dayzin PPV.....let’s all chew on that one for a moment. This would have been the perfect fight for network tv. A showcase where Canelo nests the dog shyt out of a no hoped for all to see. Dayzin should have had a network option
