Doesn't Eddie already do UK shows with DAZN? I thought for sure he already did, but I'm not in the UK so I guess I got no clue where mfers are watching Matchroom fights at.

True but also dangerous to have too many promoters because that causes issues too with getting big fights.

Personally I think the solution is a bit of a hybrid, some promoters who don’t have deals are more willing to participate on other promoters cards and often because they aren’t directly owned by that promoter they get on the card because they are bigger fights. The example I can think of is David haye when he had his a little promotion idea (post-Dave) & the saunderlands.

Dazn have the Matchroom cards which are not in the uk now but all UK fights are shown on sky only in UK and will continue like that until at least July

Eddie Hearn told US boxing fans Dazn was a no brainer. Dazn turn up in the UK and Eddie gonna keep boxing on subscription/ppv platform of Sky.

The difference really is price of ppv, although even with cheaper ppv here if dazn took them all on I think we would all prefer that

Americans don’t care about the prices of PPV, if they did Mayweather wouldn’t be as rich as he is, nor would McGregor, ufc has more PPV shows than boxing, as does wwe. The price was never an issue, Edward saw that Americans have more purchasing power and he wanted to control the American boxing market

ITV is interesting. I can't see it being anyone other than SKY though.

I normally don’t respond to you because your comments are almost totally in response to others rather than making your own statements (and that’s the case again) but this is a teachable moment. 1, what does pbc have to do with anything? 2., what does Joshua have to do with anything? He isn’t a draw or interest in the USA and his only appearance he got mailed by a fat little Mexican. GGG? And this means what? Other than his two Canelo fights, when was he relevant to the American sports scene? Both Canelo and Joshua have fought on Showtime. GGG and Canelo have fought on HBO.....sooooooo Hearn has complete the “American takeover”????? Is this what a take over looks like?

We all know he hasn’t fully taken over, but was he ever going to?

That said - if dazn doesn’t have the best roster (and some will argue both ways) - then it certainly has a very competitive one. That isn’t Eddie alone but Any true American boxing fan simply has to have dazn and it is better value for money than other boxing platforms because of the ppv saga we go back n forth on.

                      Dazn current headline names..

                      Canelo
                      Joshua
                      GGG
                      Garcia (Ryan)
                      Haney
                      Taylor
                      Jacobs
                      Andrade
                      Billy joe Saunders
                      Munguia
                      Ortiz Jr (Vergil)
                      Mccaskill
                      Bivol
                      Estrada

I’m sure there’s more I’m not thinking of, but it’s certainly a damn competitive roster. For the UK that gets split across two platforms so isn’t anywhere near as strong.
