Imagine an unproven bum in UFC calling himself top dog. Never happens
Really? How about the most popular UFC fighter, McMuffin, calling himself levels above Porier before their fight? Do you have the world's shortest memory or you really that much of a bias hypocrite?

Right you are. It seems like every time McMuffin loses, a flurry of his moronic fans flood this site with lies and unsubstanciated criticisms. They are really sad people.

Btw- He also won’t fight Mandatories unless he chooses them and he had decided not to fight GGG.

In addition...He never fights the top guys in the division. Canelo is showing up like smoke and mirrors earning belts against mediocre fighters in the division and moving on the duck path.
Yeah, Truax is a real killer. FFS....

            You're an idiot.

Who has this chump fought that's better than anyone Canelo has fought?

He already turned Canelo down twice. Will probably vacate his belt or get "injured" to avoid Canelo for a third time.

Plant hid from Benavidez, never unified, turned down Canelo twice, doesn't have a decent win on his record, yet is "willing to fight anyone"???

            WHO HAS HE FOUGHT?

Plant has also fallen victim to the prevailing ignorance that plagues boxing it seems.

He's fought not a single opponents worth a damn.

He only "looks" like a talent but is largely unproven.

Now suddenly he's the "big dog" @ 168?

....gtfoh. I won't be surprised if he looks as weak as Smith did if he ever fights Canelo.

It couldn’t have anything to do with combat sports period! Why you say that? U don’t know sh_t that’s why. Canelo has fought a who’s who and is battle tested and in my opinion only has two loses and that’s to Mayweather and GGG 1st fight. This man has fought from 147-175 and he’s only 5’ 7” but understand this he’s a franchise and business man like Floyd was; high reward low risk and later I’ll fight those battles.

If you are a champ due to winning a vacated belt are you really a champ? When is all the vacating going to stop? When are we going to go back to champs defending and being a true champ and then having someone come and beat them becoming the next true champ? Nowadays we see too many vacated belts going to chumps then losing easy their next fight...

Agreed, he’s the man to beat at that weight. He’s disciplined and is always in shape, he fights in the classic African-American style with fleet footwork, hand speed, feints, and head movement, he has personality, and since his surgeryhe has shown Terry Norris style punching power....deceptive power that hits hard based on speed and accuracy. I think Caleb is a star in the making. I was impressed by his chin against Uzcategui as well
