Gary Russell never fought a black opponent. I wonder if he has this same attitude.

It's unfortunate when race is a determining factor in making or not making a fight, if Plant wins his next fight and canelo wins his next fight. Their next fight should be against each other

I'd say that is the most likely. I don't know how the Mexican public deal with those types of fights, though. Does it create some sort of bad vibes in his country that he doesn't want to be part of...

This is why Canelo is great fighter, but not as great as many of his country men, like Kid Azteca, Johnny" bandit" Romero, Raton Macias, Salvador Sanchez, Chavez, Olivares, Marcos Geraldo, Ricardo "Finito" Lopez, Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Mikey Garcia, etc. Mexico has a rich boxing history. Yes these men had many losses between them, but they were willing to fight anyone at anytime, without regard for their nationality, whether they're in their prime or not, without weight draining fighters or rehydrating 20 pounds on fight night. They didn't look to stack the deck in their favor by putting their opponents at a disadvantage in some type of way. They weren't strategic about when they fought someone, and they weren't moved carefully by their team. To me, that matters more for legacy than trying to bounce in and out of divisions winning meaningless titles

Imagine if Americans said they didn't want to fight other Americans?

Maybe Plant doesn't want to fight another white?

Canelo in talks to fight BJS and Plant May and September. Would be amazing if Canelo is able to take those fights and win.

Ramirez hasnt made 168 in a long time and Munguia isnt ready. No Mexican challenger is credible atm

Mikey Garcia ahead of Canelo ?? Marquez ?? Yikes. Those are some warped rankings

And you complain about Canelo resume? Its arguably better than Manny. . .

Sounds like I'm not the only one who thinks Canelo doesn't fight when he can't have those advantages....

I assume all this failed theory is because Canelo’s complexion is the antithesis to LDBC culture so you just make this stuff up? I bet your type of thinking assumes Jerry Seinfeld considers himself white? You do realize the Proud Boys wouldn’t consider Ben Stiller white? Or is Dey all da same mayne?
Look at this clown assuming that this is about some LDBC agenda by bringing up race, hahahahaha... I have called out the ldbc before in this forum. Funny that my post brought out a brain-dead hater like you and exposed you for playing semantics. Skin color or nationality, we all know black and mexicans are a big part of boxing, so I was giving an example how canelo gets passes talking about his group of people, and how IF floyd makes such statements about his group, he would be crucified for it.
