Sparrow fought the wrong fight, he was much more effective against Nova. As others said, the referee was looking for things to warn Sparrow and ignore anything from Romero.

I'm not a fan of Rolly, too arrogant and conducts himself poorly. The facial expression he has for the entirety of the fight annoys me as well. He will be exposed when he faces someone who lands hard counters to his chin, which he likes to keep up during exchanges.

¿Against who? Oh, a last minute opponent that wasn't at his level & even then Rolly DID NOT look impressive at all..It's a matter of time when his 0 OFFICIALLY is gonna go (it should already be 1 but Mariñez was robbed)
& when ever he starts fighting better opposition the numbers in that area are gonna start rising.

The top lightweights have nothing to be concerned with. Romero is simply keeping the title warm for other talented fighters. It is too obvious he doesnt have what it takes to enter the higher levels. And carrying a 24-7 dumb look on his face isn't going to help either.

😂😂rolly romero again showing he don’t belong with top lightweights, no boxing iq , he will always be on the undercards or opening the event, the non televised fights because he really sucks, he knows that belt belongs to jackson marines, because everybody saw marines beating rolly 8 rounds to 4 easy work for marines
