2. Are you knocking Canelo because Yildrim is the mandatory? If Canelo is truly trying to unify AT 168 NOT 160 then he will eventually have to face some mandatories. This is just a mandatory fight in-between his real fights which are usually May/September. He just fought 2 months ago. Where is Jermall? When is he fighting again?
3. Is Canelo the franchise champion at 168 or was he at 160? So you basically are saying that Canelo can move up to 175 and be the WBC champ? You are comparing Canelo under GBP and Canelo today as a free agent. Why not wait and see what Canelo does with his career instead of crying so much?
4. Again, can Canelo move up to 175 and be the WBC champ or claim to be the champ? What if he moved up to HW or cruiser? So you are saying Canelo is the champ at any weight he chooses? I can see Yildirim guaging Canelos eye or headbutting the hell outta him to try taking him to deep waters. Styles make fights & even though Yildirim is a straight up & down come forward Brawler who Eubanks kod,that doesn't mean Canelo wont be in a Kirkland style few rd war while it lasts. Yildirim has the advantage that hes sparred Canelo many times,& that hes a very ugly style,trench warfare fighter which is why I can see this fight being entertaining while it lasts.

I think too often just because a certain fighter beats another 1, everyone assumes a much better fighter automatically does the same the same way. Styles make fights & I can see this fight being a ko of the yr type fight where Avnis kod but not before he drags Canelo into a few rd Kirkland dogfight(I think it last at least 5 rds.)

I do agree that this is going to resemble the Kirkland fight but I don’t recall that fight be a dogfight. I mean Kirkland had a moment in the first round but after Canelo dropped him at the end of the round he pretty much tee’d off and beat the snot out of him.

Unless Canelo carries him a few rounds I think this ends very early, Eubank takes about 68 consecutive uppercuts to rock an opponent and he single punch ko’d this guy, Alvarez will take his head off.

Canelo wouldn't fight Smith after looking good in his fight beforehand or with a full training camp. But with Smith looking bad against Ryder, and only getting 3 weeks to train and travel with the size he is at the weight, Canelo all of a sudden wanted to show us that "Mexicans don't f3ck around".
