I thought Galahad beat him

The fight was so bad that I didn’t care he didn’t get the decision. Warrington certainly didn’t win 7 rounds though.

I don’t think he wants that fight again. I don’t think he likes that style, and if Galahad is slightly more active next time, he could probably win a clear decision v Warrington.

I think Galahad can deal with Warrington’s style, more than the other way around. He just needed to be a bit more assertive too.

I had it 115-113 Galahad myself. Galahad needed to assert him himself more, he was too passive. I think he could definitely win a rematch.

I agree and I'll backtrack on this. Thought about it that way after I commented, so I'll take the hit on that one. He is the cash cow and everybody else is tryna get some of that milk. Hearn tryna put his fight in a place like Miami is what I was referring to, but at the end of the day, Canelo runs his own show. He chooses who gets some of the bag and everybody else has to wait in line, fighters or promoters alike.

I totally agree with you on this. Without a title, unless Hearn is going to stump up a massive purse, why would Xu or Russell need/want to fight Warrington.

I suspect Warrington not wanting to rematch Galahad was a major factor in the decide to vacate but let's see it the Russell fight gets made . . .

I’d be interested to know how much of a factor is dad is. He heavily influences his career choices, I’d recommend the Warrington documentary Fighting for a city, his dad acts like he’s the star and the one doing the fighting.

I don’t reckon Sean would advise him vacate the title though.

Eddie can't make him vacate

Some people will try to blame Hearn for everything. Hearn can't force Warrington to rematch Galahad. If Warrington says he would rather vacate, all Hearn can do is try his best to get him the best fights possible.
