Mikey should be eager to make the fight then. Unfortunately, I'm guessing he would use the "who has he fought?" excuse like everyone else.

A more realistic fight for Devin Haney is Javier Fortuna. If Haney can win impressively against Javier Fortuna then he will gain more credibility, just like how Ryan Garcia did by beating Luke Campbell.

It ain’t an excuse it’s a reality. Haney isn’t a draw and hasn’t beat anyone. Mikey is a draw and doesn’t need him.

He’s firmly chasing Pacquiao, and could easily land many of the PBC guys at 147. If he went back to 140 he’d be looking at Taylor or Ramirez, not an unproven prospect.

Haney needs to fight Fortuna next- or Garcia if he doesn’t fight Tank. He needs to establish some credibility because his resume is laughable at the moment.

That article you're talking was written from a subjective bais standpoint and had 0 sources to any of the statements they made. Even so, the only thing it talked about was Floyd requesting Manny to go through a drug test which Manny declined therby forcing Floyd to cancle the fight. I alredy talked about it earlier. To summarize, Floyd has in the past asked boxers like Shane Mosely to take a drug test which Mosely did and the fight took place almost imedietly. Manny on the other hand accepted a blood test vs Moralles on the day of their fight while refusing Floyd offer which was taking the test 2 weeks before the fight. Your article shows Floyd is a careful fighter who doesn't take fights unless he knows that his opponents is 100% drug free. The reason Floyd does that is because of how weak the USADA is concerning doping that anyone can cheat without ever being caught. Floyd has also in the past worked and even critisized the USADA for not doing their job properly and has even been the reason for why USADA has been tougher these days.
