Joshua vs. Fury, may be like a Floyd Mayweather PPV, boring, over-priced, and could very well end in a scandal. I wont be surprised if Tyson cheap-shots Anthony Joshua into a KO victory, like Floyd did to Victor Ortiz.

Patrons of Mayweather PPV's have demanded a refund over their disgust for Mayweather's poor sportsmanship ( kinda like Tyson Fury vs. Steve Cunningham ), and negligent officiating by Joe Cortez and Kenny Bayless ( who also officiated Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury, btw ). Controversial endings left casual fans promising to never buy another boxing PPV ever again.

As I said in another thread today, there are unpredictable murky elements in the careers of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, that mirror Mayweather's unsatisfactory results on Box-Office. As such, purchasing Joshua vs. Fury entails great risk of wasting your hard earned dollars.

One thing about Matchroom PPV's that does not parallel Floyd Mayweather's events, is the talent on the undercard. Considering that this fight may be in the UK, I can expect a terrible list of names to appear, like : Katie Taylor, Josh Kelly, Josh Warrington, Connor Benn, Gennady Golovkin, will surely be apart of this event. You will be lucky if cheap Bob Arum threw in a couple Toprank boxers to add value.

Now you compare the names that I just listed, and look at this clip below and you will immediately recognize the superb P4P talent that you got on a Floyd Mayweather PPV undercard.

You can combine : Katie Taylor, Josh Kelly, Josh Warrington, Connor Benn, Gennady Golovkin, and you wont produce anything that comes close to match the skills or drawing power of Saul Alvarez.

Take my advise, save your money for a Terence Crawford PPV, 'BUD' is the closet thing to Floyd Mayweather that you are going to watch at world-level.

Geez can't believe i didn't clue in sooner. Maybe because this guy annoys the bleep out of me with his Don king style lies and mismanagement of fighters!

Anyways, he's playing this DAZN thing like the stock market, news releases to create hype and hope to attract investors.

His net worth is probaly an awsome work of fiction since it's all speculation. Dude is probably close to reaching the point where he has to personally guaratee for anyone to loan him $ or go to shaddy coutries for $.

It's 2021 not 1991. HW are not the big glamour division it once was. 147 & where ever Canelo goes is where it's at. Even Teo won't see anything close to Mayweather $ until he hits 147 (IMHO, GBP won't let the Garcia fight happen till 140 or 147 unless Garcia leaves GBP..)

Garcia will probably end up following Canelo to Matchroom. If they play their cards right, Eddie will put Saul and Ryan on the under cards of some of the (Fast Eddie voice) massive, MASSIVE heavyweight title fights he's going to be promoting in the next few years.

I am starting to think Hearn has never watched boxing before taking the reigns at Matchbook promotion.

This is not going to be a massive fight. This is one countries interest. How are you going to break records? Charge 250 Pounds for the PPV? Are UK buyers willing to pay a 1000% mark up for this fight?

GTFOH bro we can do math. It will be a big fight but not any where near a massive Mayweatheresq PPV. Wilder vs Fury 3 would be much bigger. This fight will not draw in anyone else in any other country. Mark my words.

You can’t even explain to a casual why they should pay attention. Please put 100 million behind each fighter. Just be prepared to deal with some angry investors.

Well this is really embarrassing. My appologies, I have not followed Saul Alvarez career since I found out he failed a PED test ( like Tyson Fury ), carry on.

But yeah you guys are right, I still till this day, cannot understand how he got talked out of that money.

I think even he was thinking he would sign that contract, I remember him saying he was a free agent to one of his loyal LDBC and how this isn't the end etc like he was coming back to showtime after that 3/4 fights deal etc

Only to somehow be talked out of a guaranteed money. Well he bet on himself we were told, guess he lost the bet.
He had a long term plan doe. And a crystal ball that told him AJ was going to lose to Ruiz. So it was the right decision, because Deontay is going end up making more money than the DAZN offer when he gets his $32million step aside/compensation pay off from Arum and Hearn, plus a guaranteed shot at the winner of Fury/AJ that he will win easily to become the undisputed HW champ, because they can't beat Deontay without cheating and he's wise to all their dirty tricks now.

Btw, I'm going to be starting a boxing channel soon, LDBC.UK. Please drop round and join in my superchat sessions once I get it up and running.

They are hurting badly. They must think boxing only happens in America. Fact is the take over isn’t an American take over, the take over is where the biggest money can be achieved. If Mid East is willing to pay big without even fathoming PPV then am sure the boxers don’t give a toss about PPV.

Let some of these salty Americans cry. Historically it has always been two Americans fighting for undisputed, so I can see how this hurts them deeply.

Fast Eddie's boys don't fail PED tests ... tues and confidentiality clauses all the way for Canelo from now on.

Wait you mean he got cheated out with the loaded gloves and he isn’t suing Fury and Fury isn’t “Dropping the belts?” No wayyyyy....I thought Wilder won the “court” case? I mean he must have shown them the autopsy evidence.
