Semantics? Y'all want to use semantics to rationalize the top five of every official ranking board has some sad ass contenders in there?

What were the mandos ver the past 15 years y'all feel ought to have been? Mormeck earned his shot did he? Martin and Glaz had earned them a vacant fight had they?

All I really got out of this is Shane saying the mandos are **** when they don't have to be and in response a bunch of ****ty semantics. Ok, so some of them are contenders not yet named mando....oooo....that changes the fact that in the past 15 years most mandos and other forms of sanctioned positioning have been pretty ****ty despite better fighters being active and available.

How long's Pov been active? How long has Pov been top ten? How many title fights has Pov been in? Alright. Shane's got a damn fine point. How many guys debuted after Pov was already a top ten HW, fought no top ten HWs, and got themselves a mando before anyway? Alright, Shane's got a ****ing point.
Povetkin was mandatory after just 15 fights but turned down the Klitschko fight. His team felt he wasn’t ready or some sh** like that.

The only two mandatories in the division at the moment are Usyk and Povetkin I believe. They’re decent enough mandatories.

The OP was being very over-dramatic.

He claimed injury actually i give him **** for it all the time. Pov's had a lot of excuses in his career no one seems to ever give him **** for.

At the moment. So you're saying this should have been brought up when Stiverne was mando? Takam? Mormeck? Pulev's second try? In the past 15 years I can think of a handful of decent mandos and a ****load of horrible ones that made me wonder how TF did this guy get the slot.

Usyk is a legit opponent, other options suck.

It’s the same in all the other divisions tbf. The ABC’s are incompetent, corrupt etc.

At the moment though I think the HW mandatories are pretty solid. I wouldn’t say there are a lot of guys more deserving than Usyk and Povetkin. They’re both top 10 guys for me.

They were way worse in the Klitschko era. Guys like Leapai getting mandatory shots.
