Either way count me in. I dig boxing getting more mainstream attention & however good this cat is or isn't it'll bring folks to the sport which is ultimately a good thing.

Biggest problem for boxing after new people come is the sport don't make no fooking sense outside the ring so folks get frustrated & don't stay loyal to the sport unless they are super hardcore like regs here & on other platforms daily talking boxing.
I don't know **** about these youtube guys, but I remember an interview before his first fight where Jake Paul mentioned that he actually wanted to be a pro boxer, and not just a celeb boxer like his brother.

Take that with a grain of salt, but wasn't Sugar Shane his trainer too?

Idk much about this Paul brother (I listen to the older ones podcast from time to time cuz I think he's a high level marketer & more intelligent than most would think) so idk if he was/is trained by Sugar Shane or not. He's with BJ Flores now afaik & BJ speaks highly of him & not in a bs kinda way as you might expect. That said its not like I know BJ well enough to know if he's prone to be a good bullsh^ter or not + most trainers are gonna talk up their guy more than talk down their guy so you always gotta take those sorta comments with a grain of salt at all levels.

Defo going to be the worst professional they could possibly dig up. Can’t hate too much as that’s what they do with big amateur stars as they bring them through the ranks.

I think that red head from the partridge family Danny ex drug addict would whoop him and his brother up fast.

The internet made so many fools famous

The term ‘pro’ can be very loose!

As much as I would love to see him get smashed up by someone with an average record, they could put him in with journey man who they have dragged off the street in awful shape?

By the time the bloke fights he will have been training for a couple of years. If he has taken it seriously and trained non stop then for someone with undoubted athletic ability, it’s not inconceivable that he could beat a so called ‘pro’

there are probably plenty of awful club fighters he could beat

not expecting anything from this fight, or from Jake Paul for the next 2-3 years... not sure why people are interested in him tbh
