Who is more marketable, Blair Cobbs or Caleb Plant?

Imagine if Blair Cobbs had the opportunity to fight for a vacant title against a Welterweight with the style of Uzcategui. For instance, stylistically, Uzcategui and Jesus Soto Karass have the same style, skinny, and lanky. Soto Karass KO’d Berto, a much better win than Uzcategui beating Dirrell.

Oh wait my bad, GBP got Ortiz so Cobbs will never be gifted a belt like Plant. Carry on! Whooooooooohhh!

How is skinny and lanky a style and not a body type? There are skinny, lanky guys who fight long and some who stubbornly prefer to fight on the inside. Sebastian Fundora may be an extreme example of the latter.

The answer is Plant. He’s actually talented. Cobbs isn’t.

Why are you comparing a world champion with a guy who is not a very good fighter and will never be ranked higher than about number 30 on boxrec? For some strange reason you hate Plant and love this annoying whoooooo guy. You have weird tastes in boxing talent. If you are waiting for whooooo Cobbs to beat anyone worth a damn you will be waiting forever because he stinks.

Really, who besides your weird self gives a *** about Cobbs. He is 31 years old and ranked 65th in the world by boxrec. With so many excellent boxers to start threads about you start a thread about this very mediocre Cobbs. WHY?????

Plant is 10 times more marketable because he is a world champion who can fight well. Cobb is a lousy fighter and a lousy fighter is not marketable just because he says whooooo. That won't cut it.

I watched one of Cobb's fights in 2019, he was hyped as this next big talent at welterweight despite being 30 years old; when it came to the actual fight I won't say he fought scared but he definitely didn't fight like a confident hyped prospect

Cobbs came in during the time when DAZN has a lot of money to throw around and a lot of cards to be made. That is a fact, without that situation Cobb would not have got any fights or made any noise. He had a back story so DAZN went for that and it is a good example of someone making good money on a story that was picked up by several writers. As a fighter I do not enjoy his fights but some people get caught up in the hype the back story and pay less attention to the skills of a fighter, his fight history. Usually the fighter comes first, how he fights, his history of those battles in the ring on his rise to fight contenders. Then you have those times when it goes in reverse of it. Many a good fighter don't get a shot even a pc of the ladder but Cobb is no example of that type fighter.

Caleb Plant is a good fighter. I'm not sure where this hatred is coming from.

Caleb Plant is a real good fighter. Cobbs. This guy has skills but he is a clown. Copying the Ric Flair stuff. He needs to be fighting in the youtube crap like the pauls and stuff.
