Warrington needs to start showing some spirt & stop hiding in Leeds. It's a big World out there & if he wants to become a global star then he's going have to get his passport out.

I know, Stevenson ran away after talking all that smack. He said a couple of fights before winning the WBO title that he was ready for anyone. But when he won the title he all of a sudden wanted more experience before fighting Warrington and started making the usual American duck move by asking for more money. Warrington was ready to go but wasn't interested in playing the American coward game. We've seen that far too much in history over here.
Warrington has fought Frampton, Selby and Galahad. He was lined up to unify with Can.
Who have Russell and Stevenson fought? Haha. That's right. Nothing.Comment

Warrington didn’t help himself by refusing to fight last year ... albeit he wasn’t the only one who wanted to wait until crowds were back because the $ was too low for his liking otherwise.
Now he has realised this could go on for so long he’s trying to jump back in but obviously the bigger matchups need the crowds at his level because he isn’t as big of a star as he probably thinks. In his hometown as many have said - he can sell huge numbers, but he doesn’t draw the tv numbers sufficient enough to make sure others definitely fight him regerdless.
In the context of him not having fought for so long I don’t mind the Lara fight, but it certainly isn’t a mega fight and we will see what he does next. For the matchroom haters in here - being realistic what could frank Warren have done differently or better had he stayed with him? We all know the answer to that one.Comment

Josh hasn't got an infinite number of fights left. He needs to prioritise & either Xu Can or GRJ are excellent options. No-one outside the Awad household wants to see a rematch of a, frankly awful, fight. If Josh were able to beat both Xu Can & GRJ, & that is a hell of a tall order, everyone would recognise him as the man at 126. If, in the meantime, the IBF had stripped him & appointed Barry as champion would anyone really care what they thought?Comment
