Wow, surprised by the Lopez hate here in the comment sections. He must have really hurt some feeling... From what I can see Lopez wants to make good fights. I hope his head doesn't get too big and he prices himself out of the 135lbs division.

There is absolutely zero evidence to suggest that mayweather is willing to put tank in with anyone that he isn't at least a 5-1 favorite to beat. You can't call for the top guys at 135 to fight tank when there is zero reason to think his boss will even entertain those fights.

My sentiments exactly. Lopez beat the top guy at 135. That alone should buy him some cred with the top guys at 135 as well as boxing fans (plus casuals).
A year ago, when he was calling out Loma, he was in the same position Garcia and Haney are in today.
The haters said he needed to “earn” that fight because he had fought nobodies. Well, he beat Loma.

Fast forward, the hate continues. Boxing fans are either mentally retärded or just plain ******. Teo is 23 years old. The year has just begun, a little patience goes a long way.

Any written contract that Davis rejected for either Loma or Lopez? If not, there's nothing. Davis wants all of them. Go read the Dan Rafael article on the front page.

Davis might actually be the one to give Loma a shot before Lopez does. Lopez is running away.
