Victories over champions, crowd turn out, and viewership, whether paid or for free, is what it stems from .

Bro, YOU SAID "how they beat them" is what matters to you. You don't care about credentials.

Valero knocked everyone out and he's still the only one to do so.

SO, by YOUR definition, he's the greatest. Right??

You can't really knock his credentials. If you want to be critical with how he fights, that's another argument. I think he does a good job.

I do question his trainer insisting he is better now after the crash. He probably knows that he isn't, but he hasn't yet been in with an opponent who can prove that fact. I personally don't think Errol is the same..

smh i said we should also take how they win into account. For the hype he gets he doesnt exactly look great especially since one guy is a lightweight who he decisioned. I could care less that it was a shutout since he should of knocked him out and he fought guy coming off a loss, a layoff and surgery. Not impressed but hey if you are then good for you. You have low standards on what being "great" should be.

He just happened to get a fighter, who he was prepared to fight long ago. Put him in there with a fighter who he wasn't prepared to fight for years.

... and no, I'm not talking about the Senator.

Everyone knows Shawn Porter is as tough as nails, but other than beating Danny Garcia, he never has been able to beat a young, undefeated champion.

                      Scratch that.
                      Undefeated, Danny was not.
