Sorry, let's go back to Taylor.

I doubt the 'Tart-Tomato' KO's Teofimo Lopez, considering he ( Jos Taylor ) has not stop a credible contender in his prime. Taylor, could not even stop little Ivan Baranchyk after Taylor dropped him twice in the sixth, or even finish a faded Viktor Postol in the 10th.Lopez is really spooked of Davis. Let him fight Taylor. I have Taylor to KO him. Taylor will be KOed and the boxing traditionalists would be surprised, but it wouldn't be by Lopez. Lopez is kinda featherfisted, IMO. You need an athletic, heavyhanded guy.
Teo should fight Gervonta. Force your promoter. I don't wanna see a Haney fight or Kambosos.
So, for Taylor to beat Lopez, I reckon it has to be on points. Now you look at Taylor's awful boxing, horrendous defense, and compare that to Lopez superb boxing skills, its clear to me that Taylor who is struggling to make 140 will not be stopping or out-boxing Lopez.
Now we both know that Gervonta Davis, like Devin Haney and Teofimo Lopez want to whoop on the weakest-link for the most money, Ryan Garcia. I personally cant complain if Teofimo Lopez fights Devin Haney, that is more intriguing for me because, we get to clear up this 'Franchise' confusion.
But yeah, Jose Ramirez is going to school Josh Taylor for the jr. welterweight 'undisputed' crown.Comment

I'm not even talking about boxing skills with Taylor and Lopez. Taylor simply looks stronger to me and can neutralize Lopez's limited skills based just on brute strength. I can see a limited dog in Taylor. I wouldn't say Teo is a sissy. Not sure Lopez will man up and fight him instead of talking. Hearn will make it in a heartbeat because he knows Taylor can win.
I'd be happy to be proven wrong.Last edited by BoxingIsGreat; 01-16-2021, 04:40 AM.Comment

Brute-force is the 'Tart-Tomatos' only chance at beating Teofimo Lopez ( or a crooked ref like Victor Loughlin ).
Taylor reminds me of Carl Froch ; a durable wild savage, who grossly lacks boxing skills -- a load-mouth too. Froch vs. Groves, came to my mind, when reading your assessment over Lopez vs Taylor
George Groves was giving Carl a boxing lesson, but Carl's pea-brain, like Tyson Fury, does not have a off-switch. Eventually, Froch caught up to the smaller but technically superior boxer. But in the case of Lopez vs. Taylor, I'm not too sure if Teo is going to be the smaller man, he might be even stronger at 140, and like I said Josh Taylor is a weight-bully, he might not even make the weight.Comment

I understand you, bro, but George Groves was much more special to me than Lopez. He'd be like a wiz to Lopez. Even Floyd respected Groves.

Josh Taylor is far better than Froach. He will be one of the best British boxer of all time...

Maybe I should of used Jermain Taylor as a better example. But yeah, it does not take a high-level of boxing skills to out-class Froch or the 'Tart-Tomato' Josh Taylor, is what I'm saying.Comment
