He'd shine. I'd say his absolute ceiling is welter. He's compact, young, and strong, and now at the peak of his prime. It's not about height. You must be a height/size guy. Davis can break anyone's nose with any punch. Taylor isn't a match.

These two probably gonna miss each other. Teofimo is probably at 135 til 2022 & Josh will probably go up to 147 around the same time if not sooner. And with all the interesting fights at 135 I hope Teofimo stays at 135 longer anyway. Meanwhile there aren't as many sexy fights for Josh at 140 til all those 135 guys move up so going to 147 will look extremely appealing to him I'd imagine.

It's not about the dimensions, it's about the skills. He's not a small boy either. What do Taylor and Lopez do better than him? Nothing memorable. What punches do they throw better? Not one.

That's why Lopez is running away and everyone is telling him to stay. When people say lightweight is the best division or loaded, they are singularly talking about Davis, with Lopez pretending to be the man to beat.

I know size sometimes matters, but the gap in boxing skills and power is insurmountable if they fought, in favor of Davis.
