Comments Thread For: Ryan Garcia Aims To Retire Early, Open To a Future Run in MMA

WBC interim-lightweight champion Ryan Garcia (21-0, 18 KOs), 22-years-old, made a big statement earlier this month - when he got off the floor in the second round to score a seventh round knockout of 2012 Olympic gold medal winner Luke Campbell.

Retire at 26?? There’s a better chance for Hopkins to unretire at 55 than Garcia to retire at 26.
Garcia will be retired before 25

He's already fighting with Golden Boy about pay but he's going to go fight MMA where the guys get 20% of the revenue instead of the 80% in boxing? OK

This kid ain't retiring early for nothing. He loves attention and once he sees those MMA "paydays", he'll come back to boxing real quick.

Tank will help him retire early when he is on his Ass again. He got the nerve to mention Pacquiao 🙄 😂 🤣 He will get ****ed up. He avoids Tank and fights haney or rolls next. We might get Tank vs Lopez. I dont think Oscar is ready for Ryan to fight tank. It could definitely damage his career.

Tank might help him with that.

A few months ago didn't Ryan Garcia say he wanted to double Mayweather Jr's Record and go 100-0? I guess he is going to be fighting on an extremely regular basis the next few year.

Almost got smote and thrown upon the rocks by a club fighter at 22, wants to retire at 26. The writing is on the wall foiks. Some Canelo jockstrap will come in to defend Ry Guy any minute.

Stick a fork in him, he's done and he knows it.
