Should Vernon Forrest eventually make the Hall of Fame?

Watched an hour documentary last night on Vernon Forrest. Hell of a fighter and a very sad way to go out.

Any chance he gets into the Hall of Fame?

Those two ass whoopings he gave the then undefeated Shane and Ike Quartey should get him in IMO. I can remember being young and my dad bragging up Shane before their 1st fight and I had never watched Shane but I had become an Oscar fan and figured that he had to be pretty good to a have beaten Oscar. Vernon put on probably the worst beaten from an underdog I've ever seen in my life and came back and did it again. Mind you this was a Shane that was more than likely juiced to the gills. I wish he had a few more opportunities but you can only play the hand you're dealt.

I love Forrest but tbh, he did not do enough to get in the hall.

Two official losses to Mayorga and Mora and beating Ike Quartey dont mean anything at that point in time.

To be objective, I dont see him getting in.

Shane was never able to beat Forrest, even in the ams. Just that anomaly of a dude who has your number.

Unsure if he will be in the HOF.

Four time, two division champion and lineal welterweight champion who:

Beat the number one p4p fighter and beat him again in a rematch.

Defeated another welterweight champion who defended his belt nine consecutive times.

Beat yet another welterweight champion, who won his lineal title by defeating the undisputed welterweight champion.

Beat a super lightweight champion who won his title by beating the future undisputed super lightweight champion.

Won 35 consecutive fights and defeated every fighter he faced in a 44 fight career, except for one man.

            I would vote him in.

The Quartey fight was a robbery, anybody who actually saw it wouldn't be bigging it up
