How much does Thurman deserve to get in a Spence fight?

Would he demand $10 million also?

More than $1M thats for damn sure.

But the real answer to how much a fighter should get in this sketchy ass business is always "as much as he can get".

He just lost a fight that nobody but one blind judge thinks he won. He does not deserve a Spence fight until he redeems himself with win over a legit top 10 world rated welterweight. He should not get a title shot with Spence coming off a clear loss. Other boxers are ahead of Thurman in the line to fight Spence and deserve a Spence fight more.Thurman only wants the biggest money fights possible and won't even talk about fighting a contender to try to get a good win to prove he is still a top welterweight deserving of a title shot. He wants to act like he just beat Porter and Garcia recently but that way years ago and he look lousy against Lopez and then got his ass kicked by little old Pacquiao.

If the two fighters he already defeated (Garcia and Porter) got a fight with him, then Thurman certainly deserves a shot. I don't see how he gets $10M though. Maybe $5M tops. PBC fighters don't often earn 8-figures. Especially since he'll be the B-side of that fight.

I'd say he's still worth 2-3mill max. He takes crazy time off with injuries acting like the sitting King and talking a lot but without actually performing. Then he comes back, gets beat by Dinosaur Pac and it's like, who is this guy again? Yeah, he had the goods prior to leaving with injuries but with all the time he took off, how he looked on the comeback, he really needs to get back to it if he thinks he can demand big checks.

So many fighters including Thurman I feel like are lottery fighters. They hit the lottery on those big pay check fights, get it and get out. They're not in it for legacy or long term. That's the common thing these days with these type of fighters. No where near the mentality of the older day fighters. Perhaps that's just the case of times. Nowadays you do get these massive paychecks sooner than later. Back then you had fighters with over 40-50 fights and still not hitting million dollar checks. Now you got guys with barely 20 fights receiving million dollar checks... With that kind of money, why stick around long?
