Next thing you'll tell me is that it's not fair that the fight is on PPV

      And?

I could donate half my wages to charity, do a huge amount of good in the community and just live a different life. I don't, and no-one questions it for one second.

Of all the people who could make a difference by taking less money for the greater good, why would you think it should be a boxing promoter who takes the lead?

As a Brit though, having this fight overseas will suck the soul out of the fight because anyone who was previously interested will likely feel pretty detached from it all if its in Saudi.

If they did it in the UK, and they could fill Wembley with the 90,000 - they could probably sell tickets to the weigh in too! Imagine if they did the weigh in at Wembley and sold tickets to that for like £20 each, you'd probably get 50,000+ for that! Imagine the atmosphere! No way you get that in Saudi.

The alcohol revenue would probably out weigh the PPV sales because everyone will be sinking 10 pints and start feeling brave in the arena
At some point it's got to be enough. Some of these sheikhs tried to buy Wlad-Fury if I rembember correctly, as well, and do it on a yatch in Dubai. At that time Fury turned it down, because he didn't wanna screw the fans. Let's see if he'll put his foot down again, cuz greedy Hearn sure willn't

I'm sure he's not an unwilling participant in all the talk about Middle East fights.

It's prize fighting. He'll get what he can.

Vegas or Wembley would be great, but you're going to lose the gate receipts. If Saudi, Qatar or wherever can make up that shortfall then they'll take it.

The alternative is to fight for less. Or to delay the fight and receive nothing.

If it happens in the middle of this year (still unlikely in my opinion) then it will happen where the most money is. Boxers and promoters spend their careers trying to get to this type of matchup. They're not going to give it away for pennies on the pound.

The UK government will not survive if it tries to extend lockdown/coronavirus measures beyond that point as it is wholly unnecessary, especially in the eyes of the Conservative grandees
