He looks decent to me. He looks legit. However time will tell when he steps it up.

But just like the PBC form Plant likes to talk about Canelo and the other big boys all the time but when offered such fights turns them down and we get Caleb Traux instead.

DeGale would’ve schooled Uzcategui imo. I think DeGale’s pride was smashed that Showtime wasn’t going to pay his Jack style purse for a defense. He wanted to maintain a minimum premium and milked an easy fight waiting for the winner of Groves Smith. I don’t think Haymon could’ve helped DeGale too vs Hearn. Unfortunately he had to wait for Eubank Jr. and made 2mil quid. That’s rather good. DeGale wasn’t a premium pay grade fighter like Haymon’s stolen GBP roster. Let’s remember how much they were making. DeGale wasn’t get that, at best against a TMT fighter. He left the game cause he couldn’t get the partners needed to make crazy loot.

We can chit all over the Truax fight, but at the end of the day 168 is a very top heavy division. After Plant, Canelo and Benavidez theres a massive talent drop off. Hell, Truax is ranked #6 by Ring Magazine

Lots of champions never beat a good fighter to become champion.Look at the lousy fighter Jerrmall and Andrade beat to become middleweight champions. Look at the lousy fighter Saunders beat to become champion at 168. Canelo beat lousy Hatton at a catchweight to become a world champ at 154. How is Plant's case worse than those examples of gaining a world title for doing very little????
