well you think hatton at 147 was a great win when hatton was a lifelong 140 pounder who struggled everytime above 140 so i guess its not a surprise yo think he has the better resume. surprised you didnt include baldomir!

also if you are saying a couple knockout losses early in floyd career would severely damage his legacy that means what he accomplished isnt that great and is mostly based on not losing, but beating better fighters will always be better than not losing. its like comparing loma to tank. loma has a couple losses but a much better resume, same thing with floyd and pac.
beating hatton at 147 is a lot better than a lot of pac wins.

no im not saying that if floyd got knocked out early in his career that would severely damage his legacy, even though he built his name off that. because floyd has beaten better fighters.

what fighters did pacquiao beat that were in their prime, not coming off a loss, and not a catch weight?

lol lifelong 140 pounder...he had a belt at 147 (i personally thought he won against collazo). he balloon'd up to 200 lbs after his fights, and let's be real, coming down a weight class made him drained.

also idk why you brought up baldomir. floyd beating baldomir made him the lineal welterweight champ, something pac has never done LOL

I have Floyd over Pac all time but I can completely understand why people would view it the other way.

Pac’s accomplishments are definitely more historically impressive. Winning world or lineal titles in 8 weights from 112 to 154. 5 division lineal champion I believe. Won a world title in 4 different decades.

If you strongly believe one is far better all time than the other, that’s pretty narrow minded either way.

I feel like you are a reasonable, objective level dude. I respect where you are coming from.

Pac didn't win world/lineal titles in 8 weight classes. Out of the 8 weight classes, he was only "the man" in 3 of them. Floyd was "the man" in 4 of the 5 weight classes.

I don't believe Floyd is FAR better than Pac. They're both ATG's to me. But in the ATG list, Floyd must be higher than Pac for the reasons I listed above.

              LMAO casual...

Here’s the punch stats from pac vs Floyd...

Pacquiao connected with just 19 percent of his total punches (81 of 429) and 27 percent of his power shots (63-236). His jab landing just 9 percent of the time (18-193).

Mayweather landed 34 percent of his total punches (148-435) and an impressive 25 percent of his jabs (67-267). His power shots landing at 48 percent effectiveness (81-168)...

Pac has 7 loses...he’s been outboxed by guys like Bradley, Morrales, Jeff horn...he’s been knocked out 3 times...he went life and death with Marquez every time they fought...

But he beat Floyd LOL and is better...smh u casuals destroying the sport.

pac won the fight, he landed the much cleaner punches. the video shows that clearly so not sure why you would score it to floyd. i could understand watchin live and misinterpreting the slow pace and thinking floyd was winning but when you watch it back pac was in control landing the harder shots and barely getting hit with anything clean
Do we really need to go through this again you fkn know because Ive shown to you a load of times that Hatton and Floyd were JWW fighting for a WW title , they weighed 152 on fight night this is Rickys best fighting weight and the weight he was when he beat Castillo KT and all his other best wins.his only WW fight was Collazo and he weighed 159 and said he would never be that heavy again, go read his book and see why he states Floyd is the best he ever shared a ring with and that when they fought he was in the best condition of his career.

Why do you ignore this and keep saying it was WW and Ricky is no good at WW, its because youre a biased hater that ignores the truth you just try and twist it around to bag Floyd, you are a sleaze bag that cannot face the truth.

Hatton was one of Floyd's best wins because he was undefeated and in his prime, but absolutely ww was not is best weight.
