i love the whole "pen" scenario hearn and co. created to give us brook/golovkin which is what they wanted all along

loeffler, before this, had been in articles and interviews telling people how they made fights...how they had a list and if they couldnt get the first guy signed by a certain amount of time theyd move on to the next and so on and so on....ive read it and many other promoters/managers have expressed the same....you cant get fighter A to sign by a certain date you move on...and you have a list of 3-4 names

so why did team golovkin keep waiting and waiting and waiting till the last minute with eubank with no signature? with no backup plan B at 160 or 168? because they wanted brook all along

its called logic and common sense...in fact 6 months before the signed golovkin was on cam in an interview and asked about brook..he dismissed it as him being too small

if youre making a fight you come up with a plan B , C and D of guys to move on to if the fight isnt secured...its simple...everyone does it...its logic......team golovkin waited and waited and waited on eubank with nothing....and when it became last minute they gladly took brook and had nothing else at 160-168 to go to.....because that was the plan all along

i dont think eubank beats golovkin even now...thats not the point...the point is that was always the fight they wanted and they had to sell the public because they knew it wouldnt be accepted straight up...they knew they made fun of canelo for fighting khan and couldnt be seen actively going for a WW

where was golovkins 160 backup plan if eubank didnt sign by a certain date? why keep waiting and waiting and not move on to the next fight?

Eubank Jr is very strong, one of best natural athletes in boxing. He takes a great shot. At this point, he KOs GGG.

Couldn’t KO old 37 yo Abraham but you’re expecting him to KO one of the most iron chinned boxers in boxing today?

                  Nope, won’t happen

Exactly. It’ll be the other way around. GGG might put Eubank to sleep.
