You nailed it. So many ways to lose in mma. A lot has to come together to make those huge boxing super fights. No upsets. I don’t blame Connor for trying to make a boxing match, makes all the money and sense for him. It just looks bad for mma and sets more precedent that the ufc doesn’t want. I don’t know what his contract is or if he can buy it out. I’ll give him credit every time he looks great in the octagon. But business wise it makes more sense for him to box a top guy. All he has to do is do better than expected in a boxing match to get credit and be paid.
